SUNDAY

THE SIMPSONS 8 p.m., FXX

The mammoth “Every Simpsons Ever” marathon comes to a close Monday. The more recent seasons offer slimmer pickings in laughs per episode, but this installment — “The D’oh-cial Network” — does nice work as Lisa creates a platform called “SpringFace” and Armie Hammer shows up to reprise his role as the Winklevi.

MONDAY

THE UNAUTHORIZED SAVED BY THE BELL STORY 9 p.m., LIFETIME

That “unauthorized” in the title is unlikely to deter any viewers who spent their Saturday mornings hanging out with Zack, A.C., Kelly, Jessie, Lisa, Screech, and Mr. Belding. Judging by the first five minutes available to reviewers, this behind-the-scenes look is taking the warts-and-all approach.

TUESDAY

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2014 8 p.m., VH1 CLASSIC

Rock festivals offer logistical challenges, fluctuating sound quality, and a suffocating crush of humanity. Luckily, they record most of them now. This one offers a surfeit of sets from A (Aerosmith) to Z (Rob Zombie).

WEDNESDAY

HOUSE OF CARDS 10 p.m., WGBX

If you’ve binge-watched both seasons of the Netflix series starring Kevin Spacey and now you’re just waiting around for season three, temporarily fill the void with this 1990 British version, the original adaptation of Michael Dobbs’s novel.

THURSDAY

LADY VALOR: THE KRISTIN BECK
STORY 9 p.m., CNN

A look at the fascinating tale of former US Navy SEAL Christopher Beck’s transition to Kristin Beck. Beck began her transformation after serving 20 years, with tours in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, earning the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

FRIDAY

STAND UP TO CANCER 8 p.m, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, TNT, AND OTHERS

Katie Couric hosts this annual fund-raiser for cancer research, in which a bevy of networks, including all of the major broadcast outlets and many of the basic and premium cable services, band together for a night of music and stories. Music will be provided by the Who, Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Ariana Grande, and Dave Matthews, among others. Actors on hand will include Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, and Pierce Brosnan.

SATURDAY

THE BRITTANY MURPHY STORY 8 p.m., LIFETIME

The life and untimely death of actress Brittany Murphy — who costarred in such films as “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” “Freeway,” and “Girl, Interrupted,” as well as voicing the lovably loony Luanne on “King of the Hill” — is examined in this biopic which, sadly, the trailer indicates will be a seedy affair.
