‘Saturday Night Live’ again pokes fun at Donald Trump — and he responds

“Saturday Night Live” again targeted President-elect Donald Trump in its latest episode, and Trump responded in kind with his criticism.

“The Baldwin impersonation can’t get any worse,” he wrote on Twitter early Sunday.

The episode portrayed Trump, played by Baldwin, being continually distracted by the Twitter app on his phone.

In one instance, the Trump character retweeted a high school student who was sitting in class; in another, a man with his significant other seated next to him; in another instance, Trump retweeted a man on a date.

The Kellyanne Conway character, played by Kate McKinnon, offered up reasoning for her boss’s continual social media use: “He does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his Cabinet,” she said.

No, the Trump character said: “I do it because my brain is better!”

Aides implored Trump to ignore his phone and pay attention to a security briefing, but he couldn’t be bothered.

“Oops, I did it again,” he sang to the tune of the Britney Spears hit.

At another point, he interjected: “I’m going to build that swamp!”

The Conway character tried to get her boss on track by noting that he had an upcoming dinner meeting with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

Trump wasn’t amused. ”Can we at least have a picture of us together where he looks like a little [expletive]?”

At the end, the Trump character called for top strategist Steve Bannon to join him in the room.
