Revived Nick’s Comedy Stop expands into Cambridge

Nick’s Comedy Stop, which opened amidst the 1980s stand-up boom, played an important part in the careers of Dane Cook, Bill Burr, and Patrice O’Neal. Its main comedy room once held close to 400 people, but renovations in 1999 diminished capacity to 160. A decade later, the club was in poor shape, giving tickets away. But now it’s turned around, and is expanding to Cambridge.
