Twenty years ago, the second floor of 185 Green St., in Cambridge’s Central Square, was basically an empty shell. But for five young artists, the space represented possibility, and Green Street Studios was born. Over the past two decades, Central Square has become a major hub of dance performances and classes in New England, as well as a crucible for the development of new choreography.
