Neil Patrick Harris to host Tonys for fourth time

“How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris will take the stage for the fourth year as the host of the Tony Awards on June 9 at Radio City Music Hall.

Harris, who got his start on “Doogie Houser” in the 80s, has also starred in Broadway productions of “Cabaret” and “Assassins.” His opening number from the 2011 Tonys has more than 11 million views on YouTube. Take a look at it above.

Harris hosted in 2009, 2011 and 2012, taking a break in 2010, when “Smash” actor Sean Hayes hosted. The awards show honors and recognizes the achievements of Broadway theatre productions.
