NEVER STAND STILL It’s fitting that the last event of the 2013 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival is a screening of Ron Honsa’s moving documentary. Through rare archival footage, performances, interviews and glimpses behind the scenes, the award-winning film traces the history and import of America’s premiere dance festival. MARTHA GRAHAM DANCE COMPANY This last day of the Pillow season features the company founded by America’s iconic modern dance pioneer. The concert also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” via Graham’s interpretation of the groundbreaking score, and additionally includes “Lamentation Variations” and a new work by Spanish powerhouse Nacho Duato. Aug. 25, 2 p.m., $45-$75.

ABRAHAM.IN.MOTION Choreographer Kyle Abraham and his company (pictured) bring his latest work, the evening-length “Pavement,” to the Pillow. Set to music ranging from Bach to Motown, the work was partly inspired by the John Singleton film “Boyz N the Hood” and reflects Abraham’s trademark fusion of ballet, modern, and urban dance styles.
