A Reagle presence in Waltham for nearly 50 years

When Robert J. Eagle founded the Reagle Players in 1969 at Waltham High School, the fledgling company’s first production was Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Carousel.”

Now known as the Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston, the company will kick off this summer on June 12 with another Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, “South Pacific,’’ slated to run through June 22.
