Vistaprint offers printed marketing materials and services.

Netherlands-based Vistaprint NV, the online printing services provider, agreed to acquire do-it-yourself homepage maker Webs Inc. for $117.5 million in cash and restricted shares. Vistaprint, with US headquarters in Lexington, said it expects the deal to dilute its earnings through 2014, sending shares lower. Vistaprint said the deal for Maryland-based Webs is in line with its strategy to be more active in acquisitions that will help future growth. The deal is expected to close in about a month. Webs staffers are expected to join Vistaprint and will continue to operate under its brand.
