The Illinois maker of McCann’s Irish Oatmeal fell after it forecast 2011 earnings of no more than $2.73 a share, missing the average estimate of $2.94, citing weak December sales. Consumers are gravitating to club and dollar stores instead of traditional grocers, and switching to less costly brands and smaller-size selections, the company said. TreeHouse is scheduled to release full earnings on Feb. 10.
