UMass cited as national licensing income leader

The University of Massachusetts placed in the top 15 nationally in generating income from the licensing of faculty-derived discoveries and products, according to the latest report from the Association of University Technology Managers. UMass generated $40 million in licensing income during fiscal year 2010, the most recent year for which figures are available, which placed it 13th nationwide on the list.
