In this year’s push to find jobs for Boston high school students, Mayor Thomas M. Menino is taking a techier approach. Menino launched the jobs program today, along with a website where employers can sign up to take part in the summer jobs program. Menino is going online with his annual jobs pitch partially in a bid lure more tech companies to hire teens. But that’ll be a tough challenge, as part-time positions at many of Boston’s Web and software companies are typically snatched by computer science majors hungry for resume-building internships.
