Conn. man facing expanded insider trading charges in N.Y.

Federal prosecutors have boosted their case against a former board member of Goldman Sachs and Procter & Gamble Co. They accuse him in a rewritten indictment handed up yesterday of participating in additional inside trades that stretched over a two-year period. An October indictment had alleged that crimes occurred over a one-year period.
