US markets sink on unresolved Greece debt

Stocks fell, snapping the S&P’s five-week rally, amid concern that plans to help Greece avoid default were unraveling. “Investors are responding to the sudden change in direction or the lack of resolution . . ., ’’ said one market strategist. Also hurting indexes was a report that sentiment among American consumers dropped more than forecast in February.
