Firm says new rules will yield better search results

On March 1, Google will alter its policy regarding personal data it collects on Internet users. Why is Google doing this? Google says the new policy will allow it to show you search results and advertising that are more relevant to you. Google makes money from advertising; the more it can target advertising to buyers, the more it can sell. Is Google going to collect more information about me?
