OmniVision said to be an iPad supplier

OmniVision Technologies Inc. rose 8.4 percent, the most since Feb. 16, after the Santa Clara, Calif., company, which is the primary supplier of camera sensors for Apple Inc.’s iPhone 4S, was upgraded to outperform from neutral at Robert W. Baird & Co. The firm cited research showing that OmniVision may be a supplier of sensors for Apple’s upcoming iPad3 tablet computer.
