Miles C. Barr has been awarded the $30,000 Lemelson-MIT Student Prize for devising a process that advances solar technology. Barr has devised a way to fabricate solar cells onto a variety of surfaces such as textiles and car windows. His method has the potential to lead to the widespread adoption of solar power.
