Frontline, the world’s biggest operator of supertankers, rallied after a dearth of tankers lifted charter costs for the ships, said Wells Fargo Securities. Analyst Michael Webber sees a relatively thin supply of tankers which he expects to temporarily put upward pressure on day rates but does not “believe this is the start of a broader, long-term tanker recovery.’’
