New Balance plans Back Bay ‘Experience’

New Balance is stepping up its game just in time for the Boston Marathon with an “Experience’’ shop scheduled to open Friday in the Back Bay. The 2,500-square-foot space at 583 Boylston St. will feature a live video feed from the Boston company’s manufacturing plant in Lawrence during work hours. The ground floor, with restored original brick walls, floor tiles and rolling grill doors, will use RFID technology on a “Line Up’’ wall to showcase products on video screens.
