Stalled site on Rte. 128 is sold

A new team of developers has purchased the 130-acre Westwood Station development site and is planning to resurrect a long-stalled effort to build a new community with homes, offices, stores and a hotel along Route 128. The team is led by New England Development, which had a smaller role in the prior ownership of Westwood Station. The new owners will rename the project University Station, and try to revive what had been one of the state’s largest developments.
