Boston calls for an innovative name for center

The city is looking for a few good names - for a project designed to become the social hub for Boston’s burgeoning community of Web companies and tech start-ups. As construction begins Tuesday on a $5.5 million center in the middle of the South Boston neighborhood known as the Innovation District, city officials want the public to come up with a moniker for the facility. The innovation center is designed to foster collaboration among Boston’s high-tech companies.
