The association said it expects its convention to draw more than 6,000 attendees to what it bills as the largest, most comprehensive annual gathering of business travel and meetings managers, meeting planners, procurement professionals, and suppliers.
In a statement, association executive director, Michael W. McCormick said that Meyers’s “quick wit, sharp mind, and comedic pulse will bring an entertaining start” to the convention.
McCormick added, “Seth’s speech will be a perfect balance to our other two keynote speakers, former Presidents (George W.) Bush and Clinton.’’
The appearances by Bush and Clinton had been announced previously.
