Franklin Park Zoo unveils logo to mark 100th anniversary

Boston ad agency Forge Worldwide said it has designed a “ZOO100” logo to help Franklin Park Zoo mark its 100th anniversary.

A 15-second TV ad is also set to begin airing, said Forge Worldwide, which is doing the work pro bono.

Another part of the assignment: Create a marketing campaign for the new Zoorassic Park Exhibit.

The exhibit features life-size animatronic dinosaurs and is scheduled to run through Sept. 6, the agency said.

In a statement, agency creative director Mike Pilato said: “Our challenge was how do we grab maximum attention for this awesome new exhibit without blowing the zoo’s modest production budget? As usual, the answer was, ‘Make it fun and keep it simple.’”
