Indexes close higher on Spain optimism


Stocks rose, giving the S&P 500 its biggest 2012 weekly rally, on optimism that weekend talks among European finance officials may result in a bailout for Spain. Walmart, JPMorgan Chase, and Intel climbed to pace gains among big companies. Coal producer Alpha Natural Resources fell on news it is shutting mines and closing offices.
