The US housing market has likely reached bottom and will slowly start to recover this year, according to a study to be released Thursday by Harvard University researchers. More than six years after the country’s housing market started to fall, Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies sees reasons for optimism. Strengthening home sales, rising rents, and record low inventories all are signs that the country is at the beginning of a turnaround, the study said.
