The New England Warrior Benefit is set for Tuesday evening

The charitable foundation of Boston developer Joe Fallon has organized a fund-raiser for Tuesday evening that is designed to honor US Special Operations Forces and their families.

The New England Warrior Benefit will take place at the Seaport World Trade Center in South Boston. Proceeds from the event will go to nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing critical financial assistance and services to Special Forces families. Groups include the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the Semper Fi Fund, and No Greater Sacrifice, a spokesman for Fallon said.

Turner Construction Co. and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. are the title sponsors of the fund-raiser, and Raytheon Co. is the event’s presenting sponsor.

The event is sold out and is expected to draw more than 400 attendees, Fallon’s spokesman said.
