Waltham firm stays on acquisition path

The acquisition is intended to make Thermo Fisher, which makes specialty diagnostics systems, a global player in transplant products. One Lambda, based in Canoga Park, Calif., makes tests to match organ donors and recipients, and that signal potential rejection of a transplanted organ.
