Joseph White went on a mission to wipe himself off the Web. The 37-year-old government employee from Quincy said his job requires a low profile, and he didn’t want his address or information about his family showing up on Google. “What aggravates me is that any Tom, Dick, or Harry who looks can find this information out about you.” In his quest for anonymity, White found Abine Inc., a Boston start-up that is among a new crop of privacy companies.
