The Kraft Sports Group said Monday that Cross Insurance is now the official insurance broker of the New England Patriots, the New England Revolution, and Gillette Stadium.

In addition to serving as the official insurance broker, Cross Insurance will maintain a “visible presence” at Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place throughout the 2012 professional football and soccer seasons, the Kraft Sports Group said. Patriot Place is a shopping-and-entertainment complex located next to Gilllette Stadium.

Headquartered in Foxborough, the Kraft Sports Group is the sports and entertainment division of the Kraft Group, the holding company for the Kraft family’s various business interests. The Kraft Sports Group owns the Patriots, the Revolution, and Gillette Stadium.

Based in Bangor, Me., Cross Insurance is a family-owned company that provides businesses and individuals throughout New England with insurance coverage.
