Simon Pearce names new CEO

Simon Pearce, the New England design and lifestyle brand, named Clay Adams as its new chief executive officer.

Adams will oversee the sprawling company portfolio from its corporate headquarters in Windsor, Vermont.

Founded in 1971, the former Irish glassblowing workshop has expanded to now include seven retail stores, a nationwide network of more than 500 wholesale partners, a print catalog and e-commerce business, a fine dining restaurant, and The Mill at Quechee, which is one of the most-visited attractions in the state of Vermont and draws more than 300,000 visitors each year.

Adams joins Simon Pearce following a 10-year tenure with Vermont-based consultancy Resource Systems Group.

With this new appointment, company founder Simon Pearce will transition into an advisory resource, with a role on the Board of Directors and continued involvement in company creative, design, and production initiatives.
