Eaton Vance stock falls after earnings slide

Boston-based Eaton Vance Corp.’s quarterly earnings slid as the money manager recorded net outflows. Assets under management also fell, Dow Jones reported, with the results missing analysts’ expectations. The company earned 43 cents per diluted share in the third quarter of fiscal 2012, 44 cents in the second quarter of fiscal 2012, and 55 cents in the third quarter of fiscal 2011.
