Williams-Sonoma

The owner of the Pottery Barn and West Elm home-goods chains increased its full-year forecast. Offering more exclusive goods has improved profitability for Williams-Sonoma even as consumer demand has been uneven, one analyst said. Full-year adjusted earnings will be $2.44 to $2.51 per share, up from a past projection of $2.42 to $2.49. Analysts forecast $2.50, on average.
