Amazon.com cut a deal with pay-TV channel Epix to add movies to Amazon Prime Instant Video, ratcheting up the rivalry with Netflix. Amazon may unveil a new Kindle Fire this week that comes with a free month of Prime. The goal “is to keep people in their ecosystem, and that’s what they’ve done by adding more content,” said analyst Edward Williams.
