The Boston Globe and Boston.com have launched 10 Your Campus sites to serve readers in and around Boston-area universities and colleges.
Modeled after the news organizations’ Your Town community sites, the new Your Campus sites will feature links to bloggers, campus newspapers, websites, and Twitter feeds, plus coverage from Globe reporters and other contributors.
The sites will serve Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis University, Emerson College, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Suffolk University, Tufts University, and Wellesley College. Links to the sites can be found at boston.com/yourcampus or by going to the individual sites, such as Boston.com/BostonCollege and Boston.com/Bostonuniversity.
There are some 360,000 college students in and around Boston. Your Campus is aimed at those students, plus the thousands of employees, alumni, and families with ties to Boston-area colleges and universities.
“These sites provide readers a single online location to get news about their campus and surrounding community and to see what their neighbors are saying,’’ said David Dahl, regional editor of the Globe.
