Use super glue to fix chipped toilet tank lid

Q. We accidentally chipped the side of our porcelain toilet tank lid. The piece is about 2 inches by 3/4 inch in the middle of the lid. Can you suggest an adhesive or glue that we can use to repair it?

ST: Buy a Heating Vent Flap, or Multi_Flap

Hi Claire, I would not do as Peter recommened... A few products are out there that are single flap or multi_flap. Every so often go outside with a long heater brush and clean out the lint.  What Peter suggests stops you from cleaning the pipe. Critters will not like a pipe that is hot as long as it is used regularly.  Clear out around the pipe outside and you should  be OK.  BTW I loved the old BostonGlobe site and do not like the new
