ST: Buy a Heating Vent Flap, or Multi_Flap
Hi Claire, I would not do as Peter recommened... A few products are out there that are single flap or multi_flap. Every so often go outside with a long heater brush and clean out the lint. What Peter suggests stops you from cleaning the pipe. Critters will not like a pipe that is hot as long as it is used regularly. Clear out around the pipe outside and you should be OK. BTW I loved the old BostonGlobe site and do not like the new
