Amy Latimer is the new president of TD Garden

Delaware North Cos. Boston said Thursday that Amy Latimer has been appointed president of TD Garden, the Boston arena where the Bruins play hockey and the Celtics play basketball.

Latimer was previously senior vice president of sales and marketing for TD Garden and the Bruins. TD Garden is owned and operated by Delaware North Cos.

Latimer’s promotion was disclosed by John Wentzell, president of Delaware North Cos. Boston & Delaware North Cos. International.

As president, Latimer will be responsible for day-to-day operations at TD Garden; she will report to Wentzell, Delaware North said.
