Doctors are less likely to trust studies funded by the pharmaceutical industry even when they are well-designed, a study led by researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School found. Recent ethical transgressions in industry-funded studies likely have affected how physicians view industry research, the authors write.
