Progress Software Corp.’s third-quarter earnings fell 36 percent as its software-license revenue continued to decline, Dow Jones reported. However, the shares climbed 2.3 percent to $19.60 in after-hours trading on Wednesday, because adjusted earnings beat expectations. On Thursday, the stock rose again — by nearly 11 percent.
