This house was built around a single room from another home, the library from an old Winchester estate built in the late 1800s. Barbara and Frank Wilson, who wanted to build a house on land they owned in Framingham, saw an ad for the estate’s Honduran mahogany library. They bought the wood, including quartersawn panels and detailed columns, and called their architects. Their new house was designed around the library.
