Perfecto Mobile secures $15m in financing

Perfecto Mobile, a Woburn company that provides network security and monitoring services for businesses, said Tuesday that it has secured $15 million in the company’s third round of financing.

This latest funding round was led by Globespan Capital Partners, a venture capital firm with offices in Boston; also participating in the round were existing investors Carmel, Vertex, and the Waisbein Fund, Perfecto Mobile said. Pefecto Mobile has raised $35 million to date.

As smartphones and tablets become even more central to consumers and businesses, many companies are still leaving their networks exposed through a lack of proper mobile testing. What’s more, slow page delivery and bugs on mobile apps and websites can cost company dollars as time-pressed customers lose patience and move to the sites of alternative vendors.

What Perfecto Mobile provides is an automated way for businesses to address such concerns.
