Like the giant oaks and pines that now tower over it, this house has grown since it was built in the 1950s by The Architects Collaborative, the famous firm started by the leader of the Bauhaus movement, Walter Gropius. Both the new and original part of the home have the large windows and light-filled interiors that distinguished Modernist architecture.
