Advance Auto Parts forecasts below estimates


The second-largest US auto parts retailer forecast third-quarter results below expectations as sales eased. Advance also cut its fiscal-year earnings guidance. Advance said same-store sales declined 1.8 percent and spending increased for marketing efforts and labor costs. It expects performance will be hurt for the rest of the year by continued softness in colder weather markets.
