Stucco covers the outside of this 90-year-old home but inside, wood abounds: Most rooms on the first floor have panels of gumwood wainscoting. Both the foyer and center staircase are adorned with the panels. The floors throughout the house are red oak, though they have been covered in the sunroom and kitchen.

To the right of the front stairs, a living room stretches before a brick fireplace. A heated sunroom is separated by two sets of French doors. On the other side of the hallway, a former parlor has been turned into an office. The dining room, with a wide window seat, is connected to the kitchen through a butlers’ pantry. The kitchen is outdated, with older appliances and linoleum floors. Both a coat closet and a smaller storage area designed to hold suitcases are built into the space beneath the main staircase. The second floor has four bedrooms, including a master with an adjoining dressing room, and two full bathrooms. On the third floor, once the maids’ quarters, another bedroom lies beneath the eaves, with a full bath.

Construction on the house started in 1922 and ended in 1924, said Christopher Cramer, one of the owners. The house sits on two separately deeded lots, and is across from Hastings Heights Park . The listing agent is John Veneziano of Re/Max Andrew Realty.
