Rectrix Aviation launches operations at Worcester Regional Airport

Rectrix Aviation, a private jet charter company based at Hanscom Field in Bedford, launched fixed-based operations at Worcester Regional Airport on Thursday, providing services such as maintenance and fueling to general aviation aircraft.

As part of a deal with the Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs the Worcester airport, Rectrix will invest $5 million to develop office space and hangars that can accommodate large corporate jets.

Rectrix is also launching fixed-based operations at Hanscom next year and will invest $15 million there.

The additions at the two airports are expected to generate 100 new jobs, including flight crews, mechanics, and ramp workers.
