Jones Lang LaSalle Construction said Wednesday that it has completed work as the general contractor for the new offices of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLF law firm in Boston’s Innovation District.

The project is valued at $3 million, Jones Lang LaSalle Construction said, and the new offices were designed by Gensler, a global architecture firm.

Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, which specializes in intellectual proprety law, was featured in a recent Globe article about an exodus of companies from East Cambridge.

Michael R. McGurk, the managing partner for the local office of Finnegan, a global firm with its headquarters in Washington, D.C., told a Globe reporter last month that the firm will save a significant amount of money by relocating from of Kendall Square in Cambridge to Boston’s Seaport area.
