See’s Candies is opening ‘gift centers’ for the holidays

Some folks like fruit cakes and mince meat pies at the holidays. But for those who crave truffles and toffee --- or swoon for nut clusters and nougats --- See’s Candies may have you covered.

The venerable choclatier said it willl be offering all these and more in seven temporary stores it is opening in the Boston area for the holidays.


Also on the See’s Candies menu: chocolate butter, Scotchmallows, and “gourmet lollipops.” Then there’s the Polar Bear Box, a gift box assortment featuring sugar sticks, foil balls, and chocolate Santas.

See’s Candies said its temporary gift centers are opening in Natick Mall, the Northshore Mall in Peabody, the Shops at Prudential Center in Boston, the Mall at Chestnut Hill, Burlingtonton Mall, Wayside Commons in Burlington, and Solomon Pond in Marlborough.
