Energizer reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.76 per share, up from $1.10 a year earlier, beating an estimate of $1.55. The company also expects to report full year 2013 earnings of $6.75 to $7 per share, ahead of expectations of $6.38. Energizer also said it plans to cut more than 10 percent of its global workforce — about 1,500 employees — under a restructuring program.
