Now that President Obama has been reelected, it appears that his health care plan is here to stay, but there is still a great deal of confusion over what the mandates entail and how they will be implemented. In Massachusetts, there is even more ambiguity because Obamacare has several regulations that don’t line up with the state’s 2006 state health care reform law, and it isn’t clear how those disparities will be resolved. With all this uncertainty, it can be tough for employers to keep it all straight.
