Steinway Musical Instruments Inc., the maker of its namesake pianos, agreed to sell its building near Manhattan’s Carnegie Hall for $195 million. A regulatory filing did not name a buyer or indicate when or whether Steinway would leave the building. Steinway Hall, on West 57th St., is the flagship store of the company’s Steinway & Sons unit, according to its website. The deal is expected to be completed before the end of the year, Waltham-based Steinway said.
