NTS Realty Holdings LP said its chairman and chief executive have raised their offer to take the real estate company private — valuing it at about $81 million. The company rejected their prior proposal. Founder and chairman J.D. Nichols and CEO Brian F. Lavin are now offering $7.30 per limited-partnership unit, a 47 percent premium to NTS’s Tuesday closing price, Dow Jones reported.
