Auction will feature fixtures from Locke-Ober

Local landmark restaurant Locke-Ober may have shut its doors, but on Dec. 7, Bostonians will have the chance to bid on parts of it to keep.

The Paul E. Saperstein Co., a service auction and appraisal firm that is also known as Pesco, announced this week that it will auction off decor, furniture, restaurant and bar equipment, and fixtures from the cafe, which closed in October after 137 years in business.
